Posted: April 26, 2000 Written by: Dan "Tweak Monkey" Kennedy Products for Sale While at Nvidia, we met with Creative Labs and Elsa. Both companies expressed their interest in the GeForce 2 GTS. Elsa showed us their "Full Frontal Assault". This is the campaign name given to their Gladiac GeForce 2 GTS card. The card will feature the awesome support of their 3D Revelator glasses -- which will work with any and all OpenGL and Direct3D applications (according to Elsa). They will also offer a user-customized software bundle featuring good games -- not another copy of Incoming to add to the stack.
More Demos / Features Nvidia presented plenty of demos to showcase their new technology. The features and power this card had become obvious immediately...
To show that developers really do want to support the new features, Isle of Morg, a working FPS (well, sort of) was shown. The per-pixel shading and the lighting effects were awesome, to say the least.
