The results are as follows:  The most the GTXP ever uses is 14.3% of your CPU time. That shouldn’t scare you though because in this age with the processors we have available to us, no one should be shocked at 14.3% CPU utilization. Keep in mind that is only when the GTXP is rendering 32 DS3D streams all at once! On average one might expect around 1% CPU time for playing an MP3.s Software Bundle Hercules bundles the following with the GTXP: - Full-version of CyberLink PowerDVD 3.0 - MusicMatch Jukebox - Yamaha Soft Synthesizer S-YXG50 - Sonic Foundry ACID Xpress and SIREN Jukebox - Koolkaraoke Lite - Magix playR Jukebox The most impressive and useful application bundled has to be CyberLink’s PowerDVD 3.0. PowerDVD is by far the best software DVD player out there on the market. Besides offering the best looking interface, it also offers tons of features and is very configurable. PowerDVD also works with a wide range of systems. One can argue about the merits between PowerDVD and WinDVD, but that debate is beyond the scope of this article. |
