The Numbers

There are really small differences between the MX cards here. Many of the differences that set each card from the others will be based on features and software bundle, not performance. Keep in mind that each one of the cards we’ve looked at have the exact same features. This includes TV out -- and that would be it. As far as software bundle goes, Asus seems to have a slight lead over the rest because of the full version games that ship with the card.

Speaking about features, keep in mind that our Gladiac MX does not contain video out features, but the shipping version does. It will also have the ability to be upgraded to a VIVO (Video In/Video Out) module that will enable you to pipe video signals into your computer.

The same performance shows through here. Not many outstanding points are displayed. It really comes down to features, bundle and price...

Overclocking

Our GeForce2 MX overclocking article will be posted in a few short days so look out for that one folks; more on that later!

Analysis

Elsa always has the dibs on NVIDIA don’t they? The Gladiac is a superb card and deserves attention! The performance of the Gladiac MX is like the rest of the MX crowd. But this doesn’t mean it’s not good. It’s really good! The MX is all about price and performance. For the price, there is no comparison. If you want to stick some 3D power into your second and third systems for LAN games, the MX is definitely the way to go.
