Innovation: [ 8.6/10 ] While our card doesn’t have video in or out, the version you all will see in stores will be VIVO capable. Other than that, the design of the card is based on a reference design and doesn’t really set itself apart from the crowd. Installation and Setup: [ 9.7/10 ] I had a little trouble with some driver problems but things were okay after a few minutes. Bundle: [ 8.8/10 ] Here’s what Elsa wrote me: The board is not yet shipping but ELSA is taking pre-orders online. The price is $145.00. The ELSA GLADIAC MX allows for an upgradeable VIVO module, which can be pre-ordered online for $39.00. The ELSA GLADIAC MX includes support for the 3D REVELATOR gaming glasses, $55 for wired and $75 for wireless. The ELSA GLADIAC MX includes the ELSA software gaming bundle. Price: [ 9.3/10 ] $145 for the 32MB Gladiac MX is where it’s at. This card is definitely worth your money. I’m really pleased with it myself. Conclusion Elsa didn’t get to be the first one to market a GeForce2 MX card like they did with the GTS but sometimes being first isn’t all it’s cut out to be. You get to see errors that other manufacturers trip out on and avoid them. The Gladiac MX is great performer with a great price tag. It should definitely be considered if you're on a tight budget and you're looking for an excellent video card. |
