Although the two CPU’s are virtually identical except for FSB, the extra speed increase does help move more data. ![]() ![]() Same ordeal here. The improvements are less surprising as we move forward and see the same types of percentage increases. 3DMark2000 CPU Marks ![]() While we don’t see the same amount of increase in 3DMark2000 CPU, we have to keep in mind that this test doesn’t test everything we want to test and pretty much isolates CPU. You’re not just upgrading to an A7V133 just for CPU support are you? I doubt that very much. SiSoft Sandra 2001 DiskBench ![]() Blistering! We wee a massive jump in performance when using RAID level 0. These scores are care of two IBM Deskstar 75GXP’s running together. The Deskstar series offer the highest performance you will see in an IDE drive at the current moment. I can’t wait to see the new IDE RAID technology that IBM is developing. |
