Drive Bays

The power supply fits securely in the alotted space and leaves plenty of elbow room while working in your drives. One thing I want to mention, and this is extremely important. When I installed a motherboard in this case and powesed it up, the power supply popped and fryed the board I was going to test. Luckily, Antec had also sent me a Truepower 380, and I swapped that out and moved on to my next review without any issues. After contacting Antec, I had a new 430 watt power supply in about 2 days. This is a huge concern, I am lucky that I was able to call Intel, explain the situation and have a new board shipped out, but as an end user, you may not be so lucky. The Rep at Antec told me that they test all power supplies before sending them out to make sure none are dead on arrival, apparently this one got through. At this point in the review

One of the coolest features in this case is the removable bays. Though the motherboard tray isn't removable, the fact that you can remove the bays, makes up for it. You remove them by pushing a small lever on top of each bay, and sliding the bay towarsd the back of the case. This makes it incredibly easy to install hard drives, and your floppy. Once removed, you can easily install the motherboard. I am a big guy, and I didn't have any of the problems associated with a cramped case, ther is ample room. Notice the purple tabs on the bottom bay, this is to allow a 80mm fan for cooling your har drives. No fan was included in this case for the mount, but it is still nice to know it's there if you want to add aditional fans. You can easily fit 4 hard drives in both bays (total), and might be able to get 5 total. The floppy takes up one slot, so 6 drives wouldn't be possible. There is a lot of space, and lining up the drives in the bays is very easy, as you can take them out, it makes installing drives a lot faster.
