Posted: January 13, 2001 Written by: Tuan "Solace" Nguyen Benchmarks (cont.) Quake 3 Arena  The Duron shows once again that it can really keep up with respectable scores. There’s nothing much to comment here. The same percentage differences are show across the board.  With High Quality the scores seem to level off and the Duron and Thunderbird begin to equalize. Most of you would opt to be playing in 1024x768 and that’s the best resolution for this processor and video card combo. Here the Thunderbird doesn’t really excel ahead of the Duron very much but still takes a slight lead because of extra features such as larger cache. |
