Nokia 6600 camera quality

As this phone is marketed by Nokia as “vision becomes reality” and also the fact that many people use camera enabled phones more often than not we thought it would be welcome by others compare camera quality. This being a Nokia concerned review we have taken both their previous Symbian based smartphone models (7650 and 3650) and taken photos. Our aim is to show everyone interested what improvement (if any) has been noted over the past almost 2 years timeframe since these phones have been released and deployed. All these models house a VGA camera so every photo we show below is in a resolution of 640x480, as for which is best quality we leave this up to you to decide as images speaker louder than words. All photos were taken under exact same conditions and with no zoom (2x digital zoom on 6600 was not used for this test). From the images below we can conclude the Nokia 6600 having the best detail albeit poor colour vibrancy, the 3650 however has very good detail and vibrancy making it offer the best overall image quality. Sadly the 7650 shows its weakness producing a grainy image. Since this is the Nokia 6600’s initial firmware we rest in anticipation when Nokia addresses the washed out colours of the 6600 and tweaks its settings. We believe this will take place as it is a correctable error.
