Which drive has the features you want? Speed isn’t really an issue because both are virtually the same in terms of burning speed. The SCSI version has more options and software, though, so that might be a consideration. These days, a cheap UltraSCSI host adapter card can be found for under $40 USD, so you might want to consider the price too. Both drives are great performers; I can’t really say anything bad about either of them. Although it would have been nice to see the ATAPI drive come with an extra 2MB buffer... All in all, I wouldn’t mind having either drive. Oops, I already have them all. Yes! Besides, having something like this... ![]() ...requires massive CD writing power! Hehe.
