eDualHead

Building on the already extensive and robust DualHead features, Matrox has added some cool page manipulation schemes into DH. Using eDualHead you can keep track of what you’re doing easily and quickly on the web. There are three functions to eDualHead which are the following:

Ever wish that electronic newspapers, books, and magazines read more like the real thing? Now, thanks to PageWrap, they can. Suppose a feature article or company profile contains enough information to fill up three Web pages. Odds are you'll have to scroll down at least five times or more before you finish reading the piece. Not the case with PageWrap. This feature automatically wraps a page to one or more additional displays, leveraging the benefits of Matrox Multi-Display. PageWrap reduces the amount of scrolling required for on-line reading, making the experience more fluid and natural.

It's a common problem: getting lost on the Web and not being able to get back on track. Solution? PageLog. This feature keeps a running tab of every page you visit during a Web session and notes the time you were there. Every link opened is automatically logged in a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) tree that appears in a floating window independent of the active Web browser. The tree lets you go directly to any link in just one click rather than through numerous back-button hits. Unlike other logging features available in today's Web browsers, PageLog is not attached to the browser window and can be conveniently positioned anywhere on the DualHead Multi-Display Desktop. Additionally, PageLog tracks pages within each browser separately with the option to edit, save, and load each path.

With PageJump, browser windows work in tandem to improve navigation through any Web site. By control-clicking new links, you can view information on one browser while a new page loads on another browser to avoid pages being hidden. PageJump offers maximum viewing flexibility and minimizes the effects of long download times on slow Internet connections. PageJump is especially practical when browsing through multiple sub-links from a main index page on news or e-commerce sites.

So, adding more cool features to an already cool DualHead is better for everyone. Matrox knows it has the best multi-monitor solution out there, but yet they haven’t stood still. They’ve continually worked to improve an already excellent feature to make it ever more compelling. Understanding a user’s need is the most important thing for a graphics card like Matrox.
