Conclusion and rating

When I first reviewed the original Cordless Freedom Pro, I was extremely impressed. I am even more satisfied and impressed with this revision, and really have nothing negative to say about it. In my opinion, its everything a keyboard and mouse should be. Logitech even reduced the battery requirements of the keyboard from 4 AAs to 2 AAs, which saves money in the long run. The only thing I can suggest to Logitech is making it available in more colors. I would love to see a dark blue, dark red, or green Elite Duo. Blue LEDs in the receiver would be cool to see as well. Speaking of which, moving the LEDs is one of the coolest changes, as it allows you to see whether you pressed a button before you start typing all caps. It's a nice compromise from having it on the keyboard itself, and certainly better than having it in the system tray, which a lot of people hide anyway. The Elite Duo performed perfectly, and I cannot help but recommend it to anyone who uses a PC. MAC lovers will also benefit form the great design, and inclusion of MAC specific commands and keys. This is a great product, Kudos to Logitech.
