Introduction & details
One of the most popular peripheral attached to today's PCs has to be the webcam (cam). From the first incarnation of cam, there have been numerous variations, and improvements, mostly dealing with image quality, software quality, and aesthetics. Throughout all the changes, the cam still had a few small problems, one being the reliance of directly connecting to a PC by its 6-foot leash, and the other being a steep price. Well, today, we are looking at one of the newest products to hit the retail market; the Logitech QuickCam Cordless.
Logitech is one of the largest manufacturers of PC input devices around today. It seems to have a fanatic commitment to design products each year that eclipse the previous year's offering. That being said, the Quikcam Cordless isn't a new version of last year's offering, it's a brand new product, though it has some very good cams in its current lineup, this is Logitech's first attempt at a wireless camera.
Let's see how it stacks up.
