At 1280x1024, UT is very playable. Keep in mind though that this is 16bit mode. Let’s take a look at 32bit. ![]() Here you can see that 1280x1024 isn’t such an attractive setting to play at anymore. The MX just doesn’t have enough memory bandwidth to handle high-resolution gaming. This is due to the type of memory that governs the card. If you still insist on going higher than 1024x768, try to overclock your MX card. Analysis The WinFast GeForce2 MX DH Pro has lots of features to look at. Leadtek has put extra effort into making its card stand tall above the rest. I liked the ability to monitor our card and I’m sure many of you like to know what your card is up to as well. This will surely help you overclockers out there. TwinView is also a definite plus with the DH Pro. While I wasn’t able to test TwinView personally, I was able to see it being demonstrated to me in person and know what it’s like. I love this feature. And those of you with a monitor sitting in your closet can new use it for some purpose. |
