Intel D875PBZ motherboard BIOS

The DB875PBZ uses an Intel tailored BIOS most likely taken from the Phoenix BIOS camp. It more or less resembles the kind of look Intel has been showcasing throughout its motherboard manufacturing history. A pleasing note is that it does include quite a collection of options for the user to control, all of these tidily configured in various sections. For an Intel board one finds quite a rule over memory timings, you can manually set the CAS latency, Active to Precharge delay, RAS to CAS delay, and the RAS Precharge delay. The BIOS is also where Intel has hidden its onboard RAID option, disabling it is easy should anyone not require its use. Currently RAID 0 is the only mode available but already in BETA form and soon to be in final form will there be a BIOS update enabling full RAID 1 support right from the word go. While not containing the many overclocking specialized options come to expected by passionate users the spectrum in settings remains broad, well presented, and friendly for the semi-novice computer user.
