Posted: December 1, 2000 Written by: Tuan "Solace" Nguyen Conclusion Hercules has cooked up a fantastic card. The only thing this card doesn’t have is video-in capabilities but we can live with that. Its performance is second to none and the features it packs aren’t available on the only other GeForce2 Ultra card out there -- the Elsa Gladiac Ultra. The price is low for an Ultra card and the performance it packs is dynamite. This is the best GeForce2 Ultra based card on the market right now. If you’re looking for price/performance ratio, you’re looking at the wrong card. For that, go for a GeForce2 MX based card like the Hercules 3D Prophet 2 MX or any other ones offered from other companies. They have the best value for you dollar. But if you’re in the market for blistering speeds and frame rates that’ll make you big for mercy, the 3D Prophet 2 Ultra should be number one on your list.
