I like to carry a knife with me. But I got caught with a butterfly knife and I almost had to go to court. Damn cops took it from me :(

Anyways, the knife I like to hard is just a regular folding knife with a gut hook. I found this on the net:

    Am I good?

you could got to court and try to use a defense like, "to me i se it as a tool, i have never used it as a weapon, just a tool." also i believe that the length of the blade is important

I believe the main problem is "concealed". Don't carry it in your pocket. Get a belt clip to put it in. That, or get a permit to do so.

So, to answer your question: No. You are not "good".

I like knives. And I don't see the point of buying them and have them sitting around the house. And if someone trys to jump me I can stab him in the face.

That about says it all. Means no large blades, no switchblades, and no butterfly knives. If you flick your wrist or push a button, it's no good.

Foldable knives (swiss army) and knives with retracting blades are fine.

That is your problem right there. I wouldn't even bother. Just let it go and pretend like it never happened.

Youre not going to pull off a butterfly knife as a work knife.

    Folding Knives are about it.

Last time I checked butterfly knives are illegal to carry?

I thought that was widely known.

I think the law is stupid. I could just as easily and quickly stab your ass with a work or scuba knife, and they are legal to carry. I can sorta see a ban on switch blades, but butterly knives should be legal. I used to own one...

Besides, if you dont know how to use the weapon you're concealing, when the time comes you have to use it.. it'll be used against you

So unless you want to get your face sliced up with your own knife, figure out something else

In this state, all butterfly and switchblade knives are illegal. The legality of concealed knives depends on th blade lenth....maximum of four inches for folding knives. Bigger than that and you have to wear it in a scaffold or sheath, plainly visible. The same goes for firearms. You can pack anything except banned firearms
as long as it's not concealed. Shit, I used to pack my .357 mag likie a gun slinger all the time......got alot of strange looks, but the cops did nothing.
