    I think it's people who have too much time. You can find correlation in almost anything if you take the time to find it.

    The Da Vinci Code is historal fiction, the key word here being fiction. It's totally believable the way it was written, but the author is basically just telling a good story.

    True. Fiction, based on some fact. Now, do I believe that Jesus could have been married and had a child or children? Yes. Do I believe that the church would have surpressed this? Absolutely. I always found it odd that there was a 30+ year gap in the bible about the life of Jesus. But who cares? Jesus was just a man who had good teachings and made a lasting impression. This "son of God" nonesense is just that.

    I was told the book was good.
    I watched a lot of the History Channel show, and I think it could be true. But, we will never know, unless something is found that can prove the untold.

    i'm still confused on the whole life-timeline..

    i mean..
    bc is.. years before 1000?
    1000 is supposed to be the birth of god or jesus? Then it starts as 1000AD?

    If the good book goes by this, how the hell did god or jesus just show up?
    Then there was the elizabethan period, then the indians and western cowboy crap, then the 1900 industrial boom, then now.. someone PLEASE explain to me the whole timeline of events because im just confused....

    he uses the same formula for each of his books.

    I'm not necessarily saying it's so bad or anything...just gets too predictable after a while

    bc is years before AD..starts at, god knows what, and ends at 1bc i guess...then there's a "gap", and there's no real record of time persay...There's no real years. Then 1 AD starts. Lot's of stuff happened between 1 AD and 999 AD.

    You guys seriously don't understand BC versus AD?

    It goes like this:

    ...300BC - 200BC - 100BC - 1AD (birth of Christ) - 100AD - 200AD - 300AD...

    BC = Before Christ
    AD = Anno Domini (Latin: "In the Year of the Lord")
