My burning love for espressos and cappucinos has been rekindled.

Problem is, I dont have an espresso machine and I know that there are literally millions of machines to pick from.

Before anyone replies with a link to google, I'm already doing that, I'd just like to see if anyone here has a reputable machine that they'd reccommend.

I just need an espresso machine, but I've seen espresso/cappucino machines which seem pretty cool.

Anyways.... Once again, thanks for any help.

(I'll slit your throat if you hijack my thread, assholes)

I like my coffee like i like my mother-in-laws - big black and bitter.
Or is like my women - ground up and in the freezer?
    Ack, I regress.

Anyways - I've been doing a lot of appliance research lately. Best two sources I've found are epinions and amazon, for the reviews and stuff. You can find most glaring issues with products, and get a good idea of what your getting. Kicks the shit out of google for the past few days as far as I'm concerned.

I just bought a coffee pot w/ the sole criteria that it be aluminum, so when I chuck it at my roommate, it won't shatter.

As a Starbucks Barista, i'd advise you to get this one. Thats a pretty good deal, too. This machine, when used properly, will give u the sweetest shot and with practice, the BEST foam for cappuccino's. (i've been complimented too many times to count on how good my foam is. i even got a hot ladies number, no lie) My store had one like that (except w/ digital timers to time the shots) up until about 8 months ago when we switched to automatic ones which in my opinon are poop crap. thats my 2 cents!

^this one has the timers. 18-23 seconds is the starbucks standard for a shot to pour. the first 3 portafilters pull 2 shots, the last pulls 3. the 2 knobs on each end are the steam wands. i'd shit on the popes head in a hearbeat for one of these machines. i miss my ol' Bessie Lou.
