Schmidt is a trip. I watched her walking up the sidewalk to my office a few years ago and she was short as shit, her legs were going 100 miles a minute. She came in and immediately went into "calm mode", shaking hands with the governor and the mayor of Norwood. I knew her heart must have been going like crazy but you would have never known it looking at her.
Say what you will about Cuba, but their health care is first rate, which is a miracle when you realize how poor Cuba is. The biggest shame for the US is to have a higher infant mortality rate, with our comparative wealth, than dirt poor Cuba. Seems like the Republican roadblocks didn't amount to much in the end. The House revisions have passed the Senate, and now goes back to the House, who will have another vote on the bill with the two excised provisions that violated budget rules.
I hear countries in Europe are reacting in similar ways. Even though our system still won't be nearly as comprehensive and successful as many of those are.
our system COULD be if we had implemented it a long time ago.... i knew the vandalism and hate would come soon... im surprised noones dead yet.

Healthcare reform. Over healthcare reform. Spend billions occupying other countries? No problem. Make changes to improve our healthcare system? Clearly the largest crime since the holocaust.
wow, even The Times sees: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/21/opinion/21holtz-eakin.html?src=me&ref=general
Why do people care so much about the money being spent by our government now? What about everything before it? The bailouts, the wars, the bs.
because this is viewed as the straw that broke the camel's back by many. And........this is what the republicans are playing to strengthen their numbers at the midterm elections coming up. It's mainly just a power play at the taxpayer expense. Like you would a kid that's bleeding your bank account dry, I say cut them off. It's the only thing that will get thier attention. Fall off the radar and don't pay any taxes. Oh, that's right, people are addicted to the lifestyle that being compliant buys them. Which, people may as well spread wide and surrender their ballz then roll over and take it in the ass.
i think the bailouts and healthcare bill being a shitload of money "all at once" (even though its not) is what gets people riled up. Even though the wars may have cost more total (not sure what that number is any more), it was all over time. Its like if you get a single bigass bill versus having monthly payments, you don't percieve it the same way even if its the same amount of money. its good people are finally starting to want to do shit about everything, but the wild swings in opinion over the past 2 years are getting annoying. first the obamarama and now its swinging back to being right leaning. People are fucking retarded.
yeah, people are retarded: http://www.tweak3d.net/forums/showthread.php?51832-Wow.....I-just-googled..... they just keep on bending over, no matter how much it hurts.
