Read more in our GeForce4 review (on nfiniteFX II). NV1, NV10, NV30, etc. - NVIDIA's codenames for products follow a pattern. Since the first NVIDIA chip (codenamed NV1), the pattern has continued. Examples: Riva 128 - NV5, Riva128ZX - NV6, GeForce256 - NV10; GeForce4 - NV25. Nview - The technology allowing NVIDIA chips to use more than one monitor is called Nview. Similar to Matrox's DualHead, with some variations. |
