like the rumors that are being started a believe they will end up on netflix with another show for a couple of seasons.
Aye or HBO. Apparently, Netflix spent more on a single episode of Marco Polo than Top Gear did on most of one season. We'll have to see how long of a non-compete they all have. Also, I have a feeling it may just be "Clarkson Is A Cock About Cars" as May and Hammond are doing other things for the BBC. Best of all worlds, imo, is if Netflix licensed and just resurrected Top Gear, though I really really really really really have doubts that'll happen.
RIP Great show, glad it had its run. Too bad cause cars will be here forever so it's never "old" to watch new episodes (like a sitcom would be after so many years). Jeremy Clarkson won't fade away. Everyone loves him.
Oh no doubt. He got canned because he's been treading water with the BBC for a few years now, this wasn't strike one.
Clarkson was just being the guy they hired. I'd bet that BBC changed more so than Clarkson. I'm sorta unconsciously avoiding BBC now as a result.
Huh, wha-- a Doctor Who boycott?! This'll be too big a vacuum for something/someone not to rush in and fill it. In the meantime, there's always http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1657260/
True, but that's his stock-in-trade. He plays himself. I'm sure there's a few movie parts that he can be cast in. I doubt his career is over and I'm sure he knows it.
i hear its basically coming back, with a new name based in australia or something but thats just internet rumors
That's just the Top Gear Live shows they were scheduled to do, which is it's own thing., nut the tv show. People had already bought tickets, venues booked etc. They did have to change the name since bbc owns TG. I've been going back and watching the series from the start again, havebt done that in a while. Always amazing to see how far they've come as a program. Also,I noticed yesterday how quickly May really fit in with hammond and jezza
