Looks good! Those trucks were a great design. Last a long time, and are very functional. My truck (2006 Chevy 2500HD Crew Cab Duramax) just hit 297,500 miles and is still running like a sewing machine. But, I also have the Duramax/Allison combo which is known for lasting forever. Haven't had anything major happen to the truck at all. I've had to do regular maintenance (windshield wiper motor, brake pads and rotors, batteries, and a few other very minor odds and ends). Good buy!

that is a nice truck! ...even though im impartial ;)

    you NEED 3 things though...

    1. a Floor Liner

    2. a good ALL Terrain tire (this tire comes with a 40k mile no questions asked replacement guarantee)

First I need to dump my 08 (silver one behind it) I like the floor liner idea, this one is pretty slippery. I'm downgrading more or less because I only drive my truck one or two days a week. I figured having a 25k truck wasn't really worth it, yet I need a truck as I'm building a house piece by piece. I really like the long box :) I have to tear out the bed liner (shitty plastic) and put a sprayon in. a few other odds and ends.

Nearly a month on, how's that truck working out for you?
I'm contemplating getting a second truck that will tow an equipment trailor. My canyon is real limited
on towing capacity but does all right with my 5X8 cargo trailor and 5X7.5 box trailor but can barely
pull a tandem with an 18HP New Holland tractor/loader/tiller.
I'm debating on a newer style truck, or a utilitarian old (66-72) 4X4 that looks good, runs good, but
one that I won't mind so bad if it gets scratched up and dinged going hunting and fishing in. I've even thought about an old scout or bronco
but would rather have a 3/4t pickup that I could also tow with.

I like it, drove it up to michigan, and got about 18mpg. So far I've tore out the shitty plastic bedliner and put a roll on bedliner. Also rebuild the tailgate, new hinges, cables and locking mechinism. Just ordered some new lights and HID bulbs so I can actually see (existing lights, the adjustment is locked up and the lights are way off). I like the 8' bed a lot more than my old 6', still gotta get a tonneu cover on that thing. This truck is setup to poull 8,000#, if i switch to 4.10 gears I can do 9,000.
