best way to reboot axles?

    best way to reboot inner and outer axle boots?

    i know i can buy a reman or new for not much, but i don't trust the quality

    In order to reboot them, you need a special pair of crimping pliers to crimp the band around the boot. It's pretty easy, but I wouldn't trust it if the old boot has been torn for more than a week. If any moisture got to the joint, it's not long for the world. If you are tearing it apart, just replace it. That way you don't have to waste your time doing the job again.

    got those pliers as well as some snap ring ones, only reason i'm rebooting is i'm using them on another car, but they have no tears
    i just want to reboot them and relube them with some redline grease
