    Legit. Microsoft sent me legit copies of XP Pro and Home when it first released. I gave James K the copy of home and kept the copy of Pro. What's cool is it's a corporate copy. I've put it on 5 or 6 test machines. What's not cool is I lost the shiny pretty disc somewhere in my room and haven't seen it for months. :(

    Mine could be called technically legal.... When I worked for Eckerd I had access to their MSDN subscription. Since Eckerd was sold and no longer exists I'm using their subscription still...so who knows...

    I've got XP Home. It was one of the first copies our store ever sold. I just wanted to be the first on the block to have it.

    I do have a copy of XP Pro. It's a Volume License copy that our shop got through some acquistions. Works really nice on other systems so far (have had to use it for testing customer's systems for hardware faults).
