Which class does the most Melee damage? I have a lvl 18 warrior, and I do minimal damage. Just wondering if Rogues, hunters, or paladins do any more damage than warriors. Thanks.
pallies are the lowest on DPS the highest DPS classes are rogue and mages. Warriors can deal a lot of good DPS bursts too. BTW, you are just 18... to really judge on the class balance, you need to be 60 and properly geared. so well, be patient.
he's asking about melee damage. at 60 the tow highest dpsers are rogues and warriors. hunters do good dps, but only ranged dps, not melee. with you're warrior once you get your talent tree full and have a good two hander you'll have high melee damage...same if you're a dagger specced rogue.
rogues should out dps a warrior of similar gear and skill on the other hand, warriors are more sought after end game as 1/2 servers are rogues (at least on eredar) so warrior might be a little easier to get gear end game
And the warrior will need that gear. My druid does okay DPS... But druids a real odd ball char... And you dont often see it considered in any groupings like this one. And gear doesnt effect my dps when i shapeshift. And has anyone grinded with a pally?i cant imagine how long that would take. Rogue is easily the highest dps melee class. I didnt like warrior as much, kinda boring in this game. But my friend loves it. He just hit 40 tonight. And has no gold for his mount :cry:
Druids are good for PVP. They'll get picked over a preist any day. Leveling my paladin wasn't really that slow of a process and the free mount makes things easier if you havn't played the game before.
A good rogue will out dps a warrior with similar quality gear, no questions asked. Not burst damage of course but overal dps will be constantly higher on the rogue. But if you are placing a good warrior vs a shitty rogue then the warrior can win. I out dps rogues on my warrior on damage meters occasionaly, which aren't to accurate in themselves but nontheless warriors can do good damage. Now a good rogue, I can't outdamage, but I stay fairly close to them. My gear consists of an arcanite reaper, lionheart helm, valor breastplate and boots, eldritch reinforced legplates, onyxia tooth pendant, um blackhands breadth, painweaver band and band of protection, some epic crit gloves which the name escapes me, and sgt majors plate wristguards. rogues i compare to wear a bit of nightslayer gear and have MC weapons.
