    Looking for a work around.
In my Apt complex I get about 3-4 wireless connections that have very low single strength. I can usually grab hold of one for a little while however the one i can get on a regular basis won't allow me to check my email or download files, so I can only assume FTP and HTTPS are turned off on the router, I can surf when the single is stable. since this is the case i'd like to try and grab one of the other singles out there, Is there any way for me to increase my signel recieving ability to be able to hook up to and try the other connections out there? This is being used on a laptop with a D-LINK B wireless card. But for the past few days i've been trying this to try and reach further, LinkSys Wireless USB NIC Thanks for any help

The Adapter i'm using does not have a pigtail to plug an additional antenna into, would it be advisable to get one, if so where do you find those at, i've looked on the normal pages with no luck. Please advise.
