    Hi folks.

    My doubt is:
    - Is that logon screen on Windows XP really necessary?

Isn't there a way to skip it, I use only the administrator account, it would be really nice to turn it on and see it going directly to logged windows.

I also don''t use any password, just log with the blank field.

    Thanks you.

Start-->run-->type: control userpasswords2 unceck "users must enter a username and password to use this computer"

Hit apply, and type in the username and password you will use to login.

    Damn.
It worked but created another admin account and I can't logon at the old one, the My documents folder is screwed up, and windows restored all defauts.
Any help of how can I revert that?

After windows is loaded, goto the start menu and choose logout. You should be able to see your old admin account there available to login to.

I'm not sure what you did but it shouldn't be creating any new accounts! Did you type a username and password for an existing account?

I fixed it, don't have a clue how but I did it.
It created 2 accounts with the same name!? Absurd.
Then I kept trying to switch from one to another until it worked.
Anyway, thanks for the help guys.
