We’re throwing away a bunch of stuff here at work and I've acquired an HP t5510 thin client running Windows CE.NET. Trying to figure out a cool project to use it for, any suggestions? I'm pretty sure I can image it with the HP t5515 image (as the hardware is identical) to get Linux on there, but I'm not sure what the advantage of doing so would be. It's only got 32MB available for the OS and 128MB for general storage, so either way it's probably only good for surfing the web or running a terminal client of some kind... :-k
OK, I had an idea - network attached storage (NAS). I would pair this guy with a USB hard drive and host my MP3s, photos, etc.
