I've been using Firefox for years now, but for whatever reason it's starting to feel it's age. Maybe I'm just getting restless for something new or maybe it really is slowing down, but I'm thinking of switching it up and trying Chrome for a while.
IE7 at work. Firefox at home, however I do not like firefox much anymore. I only use two plugins and it's still slow as hell. I will switch to chrome once it has bookmark syncing abilities (preferably with xmarks). i know it's in the works with xmarks but not final the last time i checked.
Safari 90% of the time, use Firefox for Stumbling and tried out Chrome yesterday. Chrome is fast and I dig that, but I can't use the web without my 1Password menu.
Firefox, and I love AdBlock. Every time I use a computer without AdBlock, I'm like "Man, the internet has a lot of ads, I never see them!" I've tried Chrome and IE, but for some reason I just don't like them. I honestly don't have a good reason why though.
I like the firefox personas lol I have chrome but I don't know how to take advantage of all it's coolness yet. Sticking to what I know. Oh, I think what deterred me from switching to chrome was because the retarded ass school website doesn't work on it. I think that was the only reason... After I couldn't use the school thing I downloaded firefox again (this all happened after I got 7 and got rid of everything on my comp) I really intended on using only chrome.
I'm stuck in Firefox, because I just like ForecastFox and noscript. It was getting a bit unwieldy on startup and shutdown, but that all went away after CCleaner added that "compact databases" thingy. I didn't even know that FF USED databases! But after it was done compacting (took a whole minute to finish) Firefox became very snappy! The other trick that sped up FF for me, was allowing Chrome (the UI, not the competing browser) to use the JIT compiler for javascript. It's supposedly still buggy, but I haven't run into problems with my limited surfing habits, and it did speed things up. I just don't like the interface of IE 7/8, so I never bother trying to use it.
Used to use FF. Tried out chrome on my netbook and now use it on my desktop as well. Don't think I could go back to FF now, feels too slugish. IE7 at work bleh.
I use Chrome, with extensions enabled (changed the channel to the Beta channel) and AdSweep for all of my ad blocking needs. It is fast, smooth, and never gives me any issues. ~Will Courtier~
