Yeeee haaaa! That DC ban was always bullshit. The folks committing crimes there in general didn't legally own the guns in the first place.

I think anti-gun laws are pretty lame, and not only for the "If guns are outlawed..." phrase, but what happens if some crazy shit happens with the economy, and you have to defend yourself/your property, or even more outlandish, have to hunt your own food because bread alone is $100 a loaf?

I was really quite concerned as to how this would turn out. My faith is restored just a smidgeon.

This is right on point. I didn't know DC had a handgun ban, but it's been the same deal in Chicago. Stupid mayor Daley and wasting money with his ideas and programs, 10% sales tax right now, raising to 11% in February.. wow.

I agree. I thought political correctness would overrule common sense. Everyone knows that if someone living an ulawful life wants a gun, they will get it. The only people that gun laws affect, are the lawful owners of guns. It just makes those of us who are honest fight that much harder to own guns ourselves....

The truth be told, it's not that hard to make a zipgun or slashgun.
