here is my situation. I successfully backup my dual-boot XP PRO/ VISTA Business system. XP PRO boots fine but for Vista all my user settings reset itself. The problem that I am encoutering is that of my drives (C:/D Vista is now loaded in the D: drive and not C: which causes error. Before it was like this if I boot into XP Pro C: would be the main drive and the spare Vista Partition would be D: and Vice Versa if I boot into Vista it turns C: and D: for XP Pro. But now Vista Boots and becomes D: instead of C: causing errors. How do I tell Vista/XP to boot C: whichever it is loaded. p.s, The above thing is possible because that is what is in my old drive.
