I have no doubt that there's life all over the universe.

the chances for life in the universe is almost a given, and if perhaps we are really alone, that would indicated we are a mistake

    And in related news . . .

"New scientific research raises the possibility that advanced versions of T. rex and other dinosaurs — monstrous creatures with the intelligence and cunning of humans — may be the life forms that evolved on other planets in the universe. 'We would be better off not meeting them,' concludes the study . . . "

Interesting, but pretty speculative. Buy yeah, a t-rex with opposable thumbs and a big brain would be trouble for the first astronauts out of the hatch.

On some far-off planet, right about now, there is a reptilian exobiologist saying, "You know on some far-off planet, right about now, there is a mammalian exobiologist with a big intelligent brain and opposable thumbs who evolved from those annoying little fackin' tree shrews because the analog to our species had been wiped out by an asteroid strike. They might eventually develop starships like ours."
