Filed my return electronically a week ago and my return was deposited in my account this morning. I immediately paid off my $1300 credit debt. I'm in the green now. Feels good not to owe monthly...for now. I still have $400 leftover to save.

What about you guys? Paying bills? Leisure?

Already spent. Bills, and Will's Vday Present.

I did however finally pay off my old apartment debt. That made me happy.

I owed $600, I like it better this way. I am thinking of just not having the government take money out anymore and just paying a lump sum at the end of the year. If its good enough for corporations, its good enough for me.

gah.... i hate it but i gotta save $2000 of it for this month and next month's LOA since im still out of work and will be for no telling how long.

ive already spent $1000 on a CC payment, $400 on my BB account. Trying to clean my debt up.

ive also spent a little for myself and you'll all see what it is soon.. i decided to put off the PC build because of my LOA issue. Perfect timing eh?? shiitt...

I think i file a 2 or sommething on my w2, i get more money back on my paycheck and so I either get very little back or owe money when tax season comes

I don't make enough to justify that though :(

I might still consider it though if I can manage to live even more thinly

It was just a joke, don't give extra money to the government as an interest free loan, just put it in savings.

ya i claim 1 so I will break even or get a little back. I got back like $300 this time. in the past, I've owed before, which sucks so i adjusted to claim 1. i don't understand anyone that claims 0 so they can get a big tax return and then spend it on fun when they would had been better off just claiming 1 or 2 to get more money towards the year to pay bills.

I am getting $637 back, and I already bought myself a new toy. Not really because of the tax return, really just because I seldom buy myself nice things, and it was on sale.

Should be here Friday, I'll post pictures then :)

I'm getting ~$700 back and I'm going to use it on car repairs (just regular maintenance, nothing major).

lol, we still pay taxes. Alot more then you guys infact :/

i'm not sure what I'll get back. I put alot into RSP's because I knew I was getting a house last year. I'll probably get 1500 or so, I'm to lazy to do my taxes right now, I use "waiting until all my tax forms come in" as an excuse every year even though I file online.

Ali's right though, its just a chore for me to get my tax bracket changed at work and I've been to lazy to go through the steps since its a fairly minimal difference.

I'm boring, mine will go to 3 ways to debt/stocks/something for me, still undecided, maybe an EEEpc.
