http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/178/transcript Er, make that "power" as in singular. John Hodgman, of Daily Show, Bored to Death, and Apple commercial fame, reveals his own informal polling on whether people pick either flying or invisibility as their sole superpower. Skip down a little into "Act One." The devil is often in the details; what interests here are the side comments and observations. "John Hodgman: Flight versus invisibility? This question is only for you. Whichever you pick, you'll be the only person in the world to have that particular superpower. You can't have both. Which do you choose? I started wondering about this a few years ago. I'd bring it up at parties, dinners, wedding receptions. It was more interesting to ask than where people worked or where they went to school, and clearly more fun to answer. Like a magic word, shazam, flight versus invisibility would instantly change an evening's character, opening passionate conversation and debate."
I read an article a while back talking about how your choice reflects an underlying part of your personality. Like extrovert or introvert but I'm not sure that's it and I'm having the damnedest time finding it.
