i just signed up with sprint with a two year contract for their most basic plan which is 30 bucks for 200 min (i never use my phone) and an additional $5 for 300 txt messages. I used to have ATT but the fuckers charged $54 monthly and i never even used my phone except for txts. What i want to know is, do any of you have sprint or any neg stories about them? im asking bc i can cancel during my first 30 days. I havetn been able to find anything cheaper than this plan...
We just switched phones at work last week. Went from verizon to sprint and so far I've not had very good coverage with Sprint and that's the biggest complaint i've heard.
Never liked Sprint's service quality. Dropped calls like crazy. Their phone selection is pretty limited too.
Mostly it depend where you located. I had sprint for 4 days before i dropped them. Way too many drop calls, while driving. Check the coverage where you mostly call from.
love sprint. best reception and internet speeds eva. their phone lineup is lacking though and theyre always the last to the get the best phones.
my fuckin dad is a crazy mofo , he keeps tellin me how sprint is gonna end up fucking me over with their bills. I told him i cant afford other services. can sprint change my rate during my contract?
sister has sprint. i can call her while she is standing next to me and the call wont go through. sprint ftl
most of my friends hate sprint, but that may just be to be trendy we had a company plan for sprint for a good 8 years (15ish people i think) and no one had any complaints, except my uncle who couldnt get service inside his house (thus everyone was switched to ATT and hates it)
I've had sprint for the past 1.5 years. It works decently, for some reason the internet lags when I'm near a post or hospital while at work. It does just as well as Verizon did out here. A few dark spots on mountain roads. It seems like sprint has coverage in areas Verizon doesn't and vice versa. I'm happy with Sprint. If you're going to go over your texts call *2(I think) and you can add a bunch of texts that billing period for only a few dollars. For some reason just saying I work for my company gets me 21% off, so it makes Sprint pretty attractive.
i have sprint, 2 lines 500 min for myself and my grandpa has a phone for emergencies (he never turns it on, ever). i think i pay 45$ / month with my military discount i've been nothing but pleased with their service, their customer service is more than ready to help if i ever have to call them, and the service here is great btw i live in KC, their corporate HQ, that might have something to do with the great service
ive been with em since 2002 i believe if the next gen iphone is def a winner, i will switch though. i wanna be able to buy a non-usa gsm phone and use it over here. sprint is touting the palm pos, but they need to be stressing the diamond2 and touchpro2, they wont get either of those until fucking fall. tmo and verizon will have em far ahead of time. its all about sprint losing customers so bad theyre starting to slim down on all the glitzy shit, cutting jobs and phone technology.
It all depends on the equipment they have installed in your area. Verizon is not better than US cellular in this area 0of the valley. In another area they are tops. The same goes for all the carriers. It all depends on where their towers are and how well they're maintained.
use these tools before making a decision on carrier, there might be more towers in your location than another carrier, etc etc Cell Phone Towers - Mobiledia the processing is slow but results are spectacular and details about the towers are extreme. they used to have pictures of the towers but i havent seen that feature again AntennaSearch - Search for Cell Towers, Cell Reception, Hidden Antennas and more.
I'm going to be getting a Palm Pre when they're released (June 6, it's official now). My family has been with Sprint ever since we've gotten cell phones. My dad gets a pretty hefty discount through his employer, so no one else can beat 'em.
my mom sister dad and step dad all have sprint and i can't get them to switch. i have us cellular as my main cell carrier and sprint(nextel) as my other cell carrier, and hands down us cellular wins. on a better not, i lost my beat up htc 6800 and the insurance co sent me a brand new touch pro for the 50$ deductible. gotta love insurance claims.
miller, you do know that sprint leases out their towers to us cellular.. lol so you mind as well say both win. yeayah!! touchpro2 rumored for a june released
oh come on torx, sprint is not last to get the good phones. look at t-mobile. you can't say that sprint has the worse lineup... anyways, i had sprint a couple years ago and really liked them. they are pretty inexpensive, good coverage, good quality, pretty good phone lineup, and the 3g is fast.
Around here US cell has no coverage, period. I've had family come over with that service and they're constantly roaming. Then again, he's not in CA.
lol chain.. yea i have to revise my statement after the good news about the tppro2 today miller it doesnt matter who owns what, the technology is the same (CDMA) thats like cricket runs cdma technology therefore they lease alot of the towers from sprint also. they just run a different business structure.
