    A list of basic movie "formulas" that all movies fit into one way or another.

    I searched google but no dice.

    EX: "An 'outsider'comes into 'town' and discovers beyond his own selfish needs that his life becomes a monumental part in a small town crisis..." etc

    Any ideas?

    The bible itself is basically a retelling. A lot of the stories and themes were borrowed from previous fairy-tales. I saw a thing about it on the History Channel, before it totally went to hell.
