in my distributor cap, its help in by a screw. after about a month it loosens up and falls out, then the car dies (obviously) so i pull over, put the screw back in and go on my merry way. any ideas on how the hell i can stop this from happening. i tighten as hard as i can (don't want to snap the screw, then i'm really screwed) screw has a lock washer on it already. and its a new cap and rotor... thanks in advanced `adam
I came in for hilarious stories of your brake rotors falling off randomly while flying down the road and you not being able to stop. My hack knowledge of auto repair tells me that it could be slowly vibrating out of its place. In which case you could get yourself some fancy new motor mounts to reduce wobbilocity.
You think Locktite would work on the bolts of my elliptical machine? I've got a few that keep working lose.
