slow internet connection

hey guys, my internet is soo slow right now and its been like this for about 3 months now, on Ares im running up to 15 - 16kb/sec its stupid i cant download a song without it taking 45 min to download....And also my lagg on counter strike is about 140 - 150....So if you guys could help me with this that would be awsome i dont know how much longer i can live with this haha..

Have you tried calling your ISP to see if there's something wrong on their end?

Okay...someone needs to make this guy change his screen name. I'm the OG, that being said, it definitely sounds like a provider or line quality issue. If you have cable, someone may be stealing your cable and degrading your signal. If you have DSL, they may have installed new lines that are interfering with your signal. If you have cable, call your provider and ask them to perform a signal attenuation test. If you have DSL, just ask them for a line quality test.
