"This video captures the moment the five-man Redbull skydive team, moving at speeds of up to 120mph, catch up with the two engineless planes over the Austrian Alps.
In a daring manoeuvre, the skydivers fly alongside the planes close enough to make eye contact with the pilots."

To me as a pilot it was equally amazing that one of the glider pilots flew inverted through the whole thing.

    Wait.. you're a pilot?

Any chance I can hire you to fly me around this summer? I can pay with backrubs. Naked backrubs.

Ding ding ding! Those gliders were essentially in the same position Maverick brags about in Top Gun, except Maverick said he was close enough to the Ruske to flip him off. That in turn was probably based on one of the greatest dogfights ever, when an F-86 and MiG-15 did a "rolling scissors" for several miles before one of them finally broke off.

I'm only an amateur pilot, btw.

    This looks awesome.

Still want to fly a wingsuit some day but doing some research it seems like you really have to dedicate to it (and the cost of it all) meaning I probably never will :(

How so? I figure one would have to be an uber-upper level skydiver, get a dozen permits and sign two-dozen waivers.

Yah, basically in terms of how much sky diving experience it requires. I've seen it recommended to have something like 500 dives in before stepping up to the wing suit. Now you can get that many dives two ways: spending your own cash for every dive, which is naturally very expensive and time consuming, or get the experience through getting licensed and becoming an instructor. So essentially I don't have the cash to do it without making a job out of it, which I don't want to do.
