    Hey Guys,

So one of my friends has an old MacBook Pro from 2007 (the lowest grade model described here http://support.apple.com/kb/SP13?vie...S&locale=en_US)

Essentially, we think the mobo is dead, and we salvaged the harddrive, but we were hoping to sell the rest of it since the keyboard, screen, and ram are still good.

From the site, the specs are...

Screen - 15.4-inch (diagonal), 1440 by 900 resolution, TFT widescreen
    Ram - 2GB (two SO-DIMMs) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300)
    Keyboard - A mac keyboard.

Anyone know roughly what price we could get for it/is it worth selling?

    Thanks a bunch in advance.

    Best,

    -BBsmitz

PS - Thought about posting this in market, but we're not sure we're going to sell it, so whatevs I guess.

Part it out on eBay or contact local iDevice or Mac resellers to find out how much they'd give you for it as spare parts.

You gotta love Apple resale value. A 5 year old broken Dell or HP is virtually worthless.

doesn't that hold for a lot of new Dell and HP's anyway?

    HPs, yes. Dell? They're OK.
