It seems mostly every time I start winning my opponent disconnects before the race is over. Does this still count against them? I know my record would be alot better if they'd actually let me win instead of quitting. It's pretty annoying. I wouldnt mind it so much if it were a 4 player match and 1 guy quit but I rarely find more than 1 opponent to play against.
I'm pretty sure it's best out of 4. So you and the opponent need to finish all 4 races to determine the winner. If you guys don't finish, I assume no one gets a point. I've wondered how people can have such good scores on WIFI with random players that disconnect. It's because they have friend codes and play with the same people. On the topic of WIFI, Tetris DS is smart about what they do. If you disconnect in the middle of the game, the other person wins and you get a loss. Way better ranking system than MK DS
Not sure, I get always get pissed though, I don't know how to Nitro the start of the race. Everyone always beats me
i was told by someone (possibly nosemaster) that when someone disconnects it goes as points against their record. so even if you don't get a win, they get a loss, or 4 losses, something like that.
