Zombie Raid (1995). It's a dual shooter game, with shotguns you actually pump to reload. The owner restores pinball machine playfields and such and has touched up the cabinet, it looks amazing. I wasn't able to take pictures, these internet shots don't do it justice.
You haven't played arcade shooters until you've played Revolution X w/ Aerosmith. Revolution X - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I spent many quarters at this one. The terminator arcade shooter too. Both classics.
I'm digging the theme / cabinet art of this one mostly. It just fits my monster movie theme for my basement so well.
That cabinet is great. But like most things, it could use more zombies. Speaking of which, I am caught up on the Walking Dead graphic novel now and need a new zombie fix. I ordered this, this and Marvel Zombies 1-4 last week. Should have them soon.
Ha! My teenager is reading that first book you linked, the collection of short stories. The Living Dead: Amazon.ca: Stephen King, Joe Hill, George R. R. Martin, Clive Barker, Neil Gaiman, Laurell K. Hamilton, Joe R. Lansdale, Poppy Z. Brite, Harlan Ellison, Robert Silverberg, Kelly Link, Susan Palwick: Books
That game is huge, but would be such an awesome thing to have in your basement. I remember playing some Desert Storm-era combat game with rifles etc. near Vegas once. That was one of the coolest stand-up arcade games I ever played. (Anfpak was there!) You can always emulate standard joystick games, but pinball and shooters are hard to fake. I wish I had a Virtua Cop 1 and 2 machine at my house too.
