    Talked to her a bunch today, and of course she is busy as hell. I mean, she just got the news this morning, and is flying out tomorrow at 7:30am!

    Ha, she actually got a call from Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski (she said it would have been cooler if Palin called her :p) personally congratulating her.

    Doubt anyone would actually follow it, but she has a blog "she will be posting on every day" here: http://hollyskis.blogspot.com/

    She was on King 5 local news yesterday meeting my parents as she passed through Seattle on her way to the World Cup in Alberta. For some reason they don't have a clip of the story up though.

    Really? That's kind of funny. There are a number of skiers from Alaska, Kikkan Randall in particular, on the team, as one would expect.

    American women have never won a medal in the Olympics :(
