I dunno. I tried to hit their website and it's down. http://www.commodoreusa.net EDIT: Atom guts you think? EDIT2: Here we go, kinda figured:
I think that's the intention. If it's an Atom-based system running Ubuntu, it probably makes a decent Internet PC. The emulation features are nice, too. FTFY
This thread got me to install NEStopia (NES emulator for OSX), a verified Complete US NES Romset (Licensed and Unlicensed), and Darwiinremote (use the Wii-mote via bluetooth on Mac). Thanks.
The site is up now. $250 gets you the shell, smart card reader on the side, and the keyboard. WTF? I've got an Atom netbook I could cannibalize and put in there, but otherwise I think I just lost interest. The cheapest complete model with 2GB of ram and a 160GB hard drive is $595! http://www.commodoreusa.net/CUSA_C64Select.aspx
