Canon EOS 7D + 28-135mm standard zoom lens. Will also be purchasing a wide angle lens, battery grip and speedlite. The Nikon SB-600 Speedlight will have to do for now.

I love the way this thing feels in my hand. Much more comfortable than my Nikon D80. Anyway, this thing rocks.

Yeah, the pics are shitty. They were taken with my iPhone. Most of the blame goes to the horrible florescent lighting though.

I'll work on getting some pics of nude women.

Woop woop, new cameras all around! Mighty sexy camera you've got there, but I'm awfully happy with mine as well. It's a Panasonic Lumix GF-2. It's a micro four thirds camera and it's a beast. Favorite part is definitely bouncing flash off of low, white ceilings. Last thing I shot with was a mid-level Powershot, so I'm still kinda creamin' myself over this camera.

I'm all about short, wide-angle lenses. Have fun with that and please post some sample pictures!

Yes, this is what getting old is like. Guess what? We all get a turn (if we're lucky). It all start when you get married.

Alas. He shot the photos in raw format. I'd have preferred that he shot pics of women in raw format... :)

Does that use autofocus? The images seem a little blurred or low-resolution... Or is it an artifact of quick bad resizing?

Just a couple of quick hand-held shots in Program mode. The blur is because of not being on a tripod.

I'd say 80% of the time I love just using my little waterproof point-and-shoot because it is ALWAYS in my pocket (when I travel/etc) and I can take it out and sneak shots in sketchy areas/situations and put it back in my pocket in under 5 seconds, but that 20% of the time I kick myself for not having a better camera. My next rig will probably be a micro four thirds...
