Korea to move forward with nuclear weapons test. (in b4 ww3)(iodide sold ITT) http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/apr/13/north-korea-rocket-repercussions-analysis
or the north will hit the border with a tactical nuke and the south will use our supplied stuff to level the north in retaliation.
How do you figure that? Genuinely curious, while the North can't sustain itself forever it will hang on as long as possible, and it seems like a lot of the South doesn't want to be reunited because really all it would mean is a ton of poor uneducated people putting a massive strain on the modern/educated nation the South has created.
It's amazing what can happen on the global scale once a country gets nukes. North korea will enter the global market, once that happens it will be east and west Germany all over again. Dictatorships have the shortest reigns, to maintain power the dictator will have to embrace a different type of political system, a reunited Korea seems like a logical conclusion.
I just wanted to bump this and reiterate my feeling that north Korea will join the global market and within the next 50 years Korea will be reunited. Why I feel like bumping this? http://www.economist.com/node/21560257
