I knew it had been forecast to snow for a few days but I guess I didn't believe it. I haven't lived somewhere where it snowed for many years. It's 4 AM right now so the pictures came out like crap but you get the idea. I'll take some more tomorrow using my brother's (much better) camera. It looks to have just started and it's barely snowing now, but there's probably an inch or more in a few areas around my house. I bet there will be a lot when I wake up.
We have a chance of snow this far south, but mostly above 2000'. I'm sitting at 1000' so....no snow usually.
Ugh, snow. I don't miss it! It's been beautiful in North Carolina these past few months, and I doubt we'll get any snow this entire winter.. When we get back to NJ though, ughhhhh
I have never seen snow live before besides the skii resorts. my friend in canada webcammed me and it looks awsome!
It gets old, atleast to me The only advantages it had to me were snow days from school and work. And when I was little, seeing 5ft of snow in a blizzard was actually a crazy thing. Snow that's taller than you It's definitely something to experience though if you haven't seen it in person.
i have when skiing, but it would be awsome on your doorstep. BTW, graff the fuck outta there windscreen!
You want a fucking award? Come to george, I swear to god there are no snowplows out here. It snowed tuesday and there is still snow on the road in front of my buddies house.
-17c (1.4f) This morning. When it's this cold it doesn't usually snow. I prefer the snow from the pacific northwest (as you americans call it). Perfect snowball snow.
yep it certainly snowed. Only a little bit though (thank goodness). Snow is pretty and fun to play in but that's it. I live about 25 miles south of work so I have to pray that I will be able to get to work when there is snow/ice on the roads. Last year, when we had a ton of snow, I missed several days of work. It took a long time to get back on track after losing that much money. Of course I had a Mustang last year. This year, I have a 4x4 Explorer but not sure if it will do much better. Hopefully it will.
ya it's snowing again in the Seattle area. I'm in Kirkland and it's coming down pretty good and sticking too...bah! Well i just put full coverage insurance on my truck (good lord it's so much more ;-(). I wish i hadn't waited on getting new tires or chains lol... bad camera photo but you get the idea. it doesn't actually show the snow coming down very well but it's comign down really hard. yay it's sticking to the road now...
Apparently back home in Chi town, It snowed a inch and a half, then went to rain, then to freezing rain.
We were supposed to get some today but it didn't happen. I had my share of snow living in Alaska for 11 years and I don't miss it one bit.
i woke up to a blanket and had to make my 1/2 hour walk to campus/work in windy, freezing (10's) weather. fuck snow.
shit dude i have an indoor soccer game later tonight in hamden i hope it doesn't get bad enough to cancel it.
I drove back from madison to milwaukee yesterday and it was total carnage. took me 3 hours (usualy an hour drive) heres some pics. all but one accedent was on the other side of the freeway. i counted 5 semi's 2 busses and about 40 cars. smashed to fuck and in ditches. sorry the pics were from my cellphone.
i'm amazing at driving in the snow, its just everyone else i'm worried about. i had a guy on the left of me on the freeway spin out and end up on the right of me, i came within a foot of him, thank got for my manual tranny nothing like lockin up the brakes, throwin it in reverse and floorin it
