So with the recent addiction to Guitar Hero 2, I bought Guitar Hero 1 a little while ago. I'm starting to play it more but the calibration feels completely off. Notes that I am definitely hitting are coming back as wrong. There's no calibration for this Guitar Hero. Any other remedies for this? I'm using the GH2 guitar.

    Play it on an SDTV.

Ugh, the only sdtv in our house is downstairs in the living room. (Not where I'd prefer to play). Would it have anything to do with the guitar?

I doubt it's the guitar. The reason they added the calibrate lag feature into GH2 is because people complained that there was a lag on HDTV's in GH1. Sorry :/

You can check to see if your tv has a game mode or something that turns off all picture processing.

    Its definitely not the guitar.
