Either there isn't shit happening in Anchorage, or his sister is a bad ass bitch. Or both. I'm gonna go with both. Front page though, even if it's a small city paper, is very very impressive. I am clapping for her right now.

And yah, my sister is pretty bad ass, but this really is a big race in Alaska, it is a huge event ever year, the race has been going for 85 years now.

Pity about the old man. He made it to the top, and THEN died afterward. Tragic, but at least he died with his head up.

And doing something he obviously loved to do. We should all be so lucky.
