Well my lady is finally getting herself a new (to her) car.

We have it down to two different cars but im not sure which one to get and neither is she. We can not decide between a Cadillac CTS (auto v6) and a BMW 3-series (2dr auto I6). The car will be 04 or newer and the color will be black. There really is no horsepower difference or gas mileage difference. They are also about the same price used with about the same miles.

She is going to test drive each of them next week. I have driven both and explained to her the difference but she really wont understand what I mean until she drives them herself. I still am not sure if she will know the difference after test driving them both either haha

The car will not be modified at all expect some small exterior things that I will do but nothing major (i.e. rims, lip kit).

So what do you ladies think? Which would you pick and why?

The BMW's a 2-door and the Cadillac's a 4-door? That pic is a CTS-V right? You could change out the grill and stuff I guess... but stock:

I'd say the BMW. CTS-Vs are hot, but the CTS reminds me of a middle aged+ person's car or something. The BMW would probably be quicker and hold its value better. I've always liked BMWs so I guess I'm biased.

    you are correct dan.

the pic is of a V. she would be getting a regular CTS but i would make it a V clone with nice rims.

the bmw pic is a 330i w/ the sport package.

    edit:

i was all for a BMW at first because I love them but she does need a car with some extra room and the BMW really has no back seat room. but then i just cant stop thinking about how the bmw will hold its value better and well because its a bimmer lol

Parts and upkeep will likely be higher on the BMW due to it's import status alone, the Caddy won't be cheaper, but it'll probably be cheaper than the B.

do you have company riding with you very often? if so I'd definitely want a 4 door vehicle myself.

Yep. It'll cost more in the long haul, but will also be worth more when you go to sell it. Plus it's a fucking BMW.
